San Diego Indymedia is a volunteer, noncommercial consensus-based collective working to provide a space for media creation and sharing for community members in San Diego and surrounding regions. We strive to support communities, activist groups and individuals whose stories often are not told or are misrepresented in media outlets owned by corporations. We run an open publishing multi-media website where anyone can report the news from their perspective, distribute a print version of the website ("INKED"), publish a monthly video N O O Z R E A L, and support San Diego activist groups by documenting their events and by providing video cameras for media production as well as internet access anywhere in San Diego using our mobile media unit.
