La Otra San Diego

Café en la CALLE began in 2006 as an autonomous group in San Ysidro, responding to lack of youth programs. We address many views of the world, including zapatismo, indigenous perspectives and grassroot criticisms of neoliberal globalization, to promote and increase critical consciousness of youth. We employ art, music, alternative media and awareness of environment, thereby creating a self-sufficient community through unity.
